Set nutrition goals for a plan

When you build a plan, you need to know if the calories, protein, and carbs are coming out right — instead of doing mental math or guessing. Plan goals show you the comparison directly as you work.

What you will learn

  • Create a goal as a classification label
  • Set the calorie target on the plan itself
  • Compare totals against the goal while building
01

Open plan goals

  1. From Plans, open Plan goals.
  2. Create a new goal or edit an existing one.
  3. A goal is a classification label (like "Weight loss" or "Muscle gain") — not a full nutrition profile.
  4. Save the goal, then select it when you build a new plan or edit an existing one.
02

Set the calorie target

The calorie target (targetKcal) is set on the plan itself, not on the goal. When you build or edit a plan, specify the target calories — and you will see the current totals compared to the goal in green if you are close, or red if you are off. Adjust quantities or swap foods until you hit the intended range.
